The “okay I get it and I’ll work on it” is a common shutdown technique… a cop out.
Demonstrate curiosity when receiving constructive feedback. “How does this behaviour play out for you”
Thank the feedback giver for their honesty. Ask to take some time for reflection and then come back to the conversation in a day or so.
