Chapter 2 - Be Less Busy
Make yourself less busy to give yourself time to do the higher value work. No one else has any motivation to make you less busy.
💡 Key Insight As a leader, you are expected to be able to deal with an overwhelming workload and not be overwhelmed.
No one cares how hard you work. It’s up to you to reinvent your job so that you can work where the value is. Giving others every last drop of your energy doesn’t equate to maximising what you can give others. The better and stronger you are, the more you can give.
💡 Put your own oxygen mask on before you help others.
The best leaders are able to fend off the endless demands from stakeholders, and get the most critical stuff done.

Consider how redefining and/or rearranging work can deliver the value the business wants.
